Register of landscapes of cultural interest in Andalusia : informative document : [Preface and introduction]

Abstract

The Register of Landscapes of Cultural Interest of Andalusia is an instrument of knowledge of a representative selection of Andalusian landscapes because of the authenticity of their meaning, the integrity of their values ​​and their institutional and social recognition. With an eminently informative approach, this new editorial product contains a first part where the concepts and criteria followed in the project are exposed. The second part presents in a synthetic way the identification and characterization of the 116 landscapes studied to date. The works have been carried out in the Cultural Landscape Laboratory of the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage, in collaboration with specialists in different professional and university subjects that have covered a wide range of disciplines.
